LYDIA INDIA — TERMS OF SERVICE

OVERVIEW
This website and online store are operated by Lydia India. Throughout the site, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Lydia India. By visiting our website, creating an account, placing an order or using any of our services, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy as published on this website.

1. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract under applicable Indian law. You are responsible for providing accurate, current and complete billing, delivery and contact information and for keeping your account credentials secure.

2. PRODUCTS AND PRODUCT INFORMATION
We make reasonable efforts to display product descriptions, dimensions, materials, finishes, colours and images accurately. Colours and appearance may vary because of screen settings, lighting, photography and natural material variation. Dimensions may have reasonable manufacturing tolerances. We may update, discontinue or limit products and quantities without prior notice.

3. PRICING, TAXES AND SHIPPING
All prices displayed on the website are in Indian Rupees unless stated otherwise. Displayed prices include applicable GST at the prevailing rate and standard Pan-India shipping, unless a product page or checkout clearly states otherwise. Installation is not included. Prices, offers and availability may change before an order is accepted. Any obvious pricing or catalogue error may be corrected, and we may contact you before processing the affected order.

4. ORDERS AND ACCEPTANCE
Placing an order is an offer to purchase. An order is accepted only after payment is successfully processed and we issue confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order because of stock unavailability, payment failure, incorrect information, suspected fraud, delivery limitations or an obvious pricing or product-information error. If we cancel a paid order, the amount received will be refunded to the original payment method.

5. PAYMENT
Payments are processed through the payment methods made available at checkout. You confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method. We do not directly store complete card information. Payment-provider terms may also apply.

6. CANCELLATION
You may request cancellation only before the order is dispatched. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. Cancellation requests must be sent promptly by email or WhatsApp with the order number. If an eligible paid order is cancelled before dispatch, the refund will be processed to the original payment method, subject to payment-provider processing timelines.

7. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
We deliver across India. Delivery estimates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed and may vary by product availability, destination, carrier conditions and events beyond our reasonable control. Please provide a complete and accessible delivery address and inspect the package promptly upon receipt. Standard shipping is included in the displayed product price unless expressly stated otherwise. Installation services are not provided.

8. DAMAGE, DEFECT OR WRONG PRODUCT
We do not offer general returns or exchanges for change of mind. If a product is delivered damaged, defective or different from the product ordered, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery by email or WhatsApp. Please provide the order number, unpacking photographs or video, photographs of the product and packaging, and a clear description of the issue. Each claim will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Depending on verification and availability, we may offer repair guidance, replacement, store credit or refund. Do not install, alter or dispose of the product or packaging while a claim is under review.

9. WARRANTY AND INSTALLATION
Unless expressly stated on the relevant product page or invoice, products do not include a separate warranty or service commitment. Lydia India does not provide installation. Products must be installed by a qualified professional in accordance with applicable electrical and safety standards. We are not responsible for damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, unauthorised alteration, unsuitable site conditions, voltage fluctuation, normal wear and tear or failure to follow care instructions.

10. LIGHTING CONSULTATION
Lighting consultation is a paid service priced as shown on its product page. The consultation fee and scope apply only to the services expressly described at the time of booking. Recommendations are advisory and depend on the information supplied by the customer. Product purchases, installation and third-party professional services are separate unless expressly included.

11. PROMOTIONS AND DISCOUNT CODES
Promotions and discount codes are subject to their stated eligibility, minimum order value, product exclusions, validity period and usage limits. Newsletter vouchers are limited to one eligible use per email address, apply to eligible paid products only, exclude the ₹999 consultation product, require a minimum order value of ₹5,000 and expire 30 days after issue, unless the issued voucher states otherwise. Discounts cannot be combined unless expressly permitted.

12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Website content, branding, product photographs, graphics, text and design are owned by or licensed to Lydia India and may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed or used commercially without prior written permission.

13. ACCEPTABLE USE
You must not use the website for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful or abusive purposes; interfere with its security or operation; introduce malicious code; scrape or copy content without permission; impersonate another person; or infringe any third-party rights.

14. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Our store is hosted by Shopify and may use third-party payment, delivery, analytics, communication and social-media services. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices. Purchases from Lydia India are transactions directly between you and Lydia India; Shopify is the platform provider and is not the seller of our products.

15. PRIVACY
Personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy as published on this website and applicable Indian law. Shopify and authorised service providers may process information where necessary to operate the store, process payments, deliver orders, prevent fraud and provide customer support.

16. DISCLAIMER AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and services are provided on an “as available” basis. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under Indian consumer-protection law. Subject to those mandatory rights, Lydia India will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the website or products. Our aggregate liability for a claim relating to an order will not exceed the amount paid for the product or service giving rise to that claim.

17. FORCE MAJEURE
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, transport disruption, supplier interruption, internet or utility failure, or other force-majeure events.

18. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer-protection rights and any mandatory dispute-resolution forum, courts in Delhi shall have jurisdiction.

19. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your order will apply to that order unless a change is required by law.
